Bailey, my assistant dog walker for the day!

Bailey went to work with me today.  He was the perfect assistant dog walker.  He met all my buddies: concierges, doormen, and the hot dog guy. He was pleasant and friendly to all my clients. Here's him posing with Roxy, Grey and Wendel.  Wendel and Bailey became instant BFF, well it might have been a bit one sided..

M & M

Took care of Murphy and Marcus this weekend.  Murphy is very happy and laid back, he'd say hi to everyone if I let him, he did not like other dogs though.  Marcus allowed strangers to admire him from afar.  When I got to their house, Marcus came running to greet me with his favorite toy, he even tried to sneak him out for the walk.  They both slept on my bed at night, it was very very sweet.  I look forward to taking care of them again soon.

He's a rock star!!

He's a rock star!!
I love introducing this little guy to everyone.  His name is BEAST!  And he wears a collar with skulls on it.
When I first met him, I couldn't stop smiling, he is cute as a button and he weighs a total of 7 lbs, half of him are ears.  He always have this look on his face, a little innocent, a little "I didn't do it" and a little "tell me I am a good boy" look.
He is very laid back and quite eccentric.  One time when I went to pick him up, he wasn't by the door to greet me, I found him sitting by a puddle in the bedroom, with t-shaped ears, looking really really guilty.  It was very cute and honest of him to own up to it and not pretend it was the imaginary cat that did it.
During our first walk, one of his walking buddies was doing a number one, Beast went and lifted his leg up at him, freaked me out as I did not want to return my client with pee on him, as it turns out, he was fake marking his buddy and he has been doing that ever since then.  Maybe that's his way of telling people he was his best friend?!
He has a lot of charisma, just like a rock star, every time we go out, he draws people to him.  He probably has more fans than most 2 legged rock stars.  If you see us out and about, don't hesitate to come say hi, you might even get an autograph from him if you are lucky!

Pain in the neck!

Pain in the neck!
Came home one day, and Colby was not well, every time someone got close to him, he would squeal, he seemed lethargic and was a bit shaky. Took him to the ER at Angell Memorial.
The vet said he has a pain in the neck. Could be a lot of things, meningitis, tumor, but mostly likely a herniated disc.  She gave him pain and anti-inflammatory medications and asked me to observe to him for the next few days, especially his motor skills.  She also recommended that I get him a harness and a crate.  No exercise for two weeks and no more jumping up and down furniture.
It has been 4 days, thank goodness he is back to his normal whiny self.  He knows he has a free pass, he'd ask for more treats, and he'd go and eat the kitty food, knowing very well that I would not yell at him.  He loves his crate, and is really happy about the "no exercise" recommendation.  Everyone wants to go in his crate, every time he comes out, one of his siblings would climb in.  My babies are so eccentric..  Coco, you will always be my little drama queen but never a pain in my neck!  Hugs and kisses!!

A Seinfeld fan?

Took care of Kramer and Sadie this past week.  Yes, Kramer is named after Kramer from Seinfeld, due to his dramatic entrances.  He acts more like a dog, he comes to greet me at the door each time and would give me kisses by nibbling on my chin.  He loves to use his paws especially when it comes to getting treats and the pace is too slow for him.  Sadie is beautiful, she is much more reserved, loves to be combed, and always let Kramer eats his dinner first.
