Transformer - PRONG COLLAR!

Franklin & Doobie transformed from walking ok and occasionally pulling to loose leash walking with the help of prong collars.

I have blogged about this before, I have introduced this collar to my clients over the years and none of them, I repeat, NONE OF THEM, have said to me, no we hate this and will never use it.  In fact feedbacks have all been positive, one even said "where has this collar been all my life!!?!?!?"

I would like to stress that this is just my opinion and my experience with using the prong collar over the years as a tool to assist in loose leash walking.  I am by no means a professional trainer.  The reason I blog about this is because this collar is so misunderstood, it is a shame as I feel a lot of owners can benefit from it.

Some trainers refuse to use it and some vets say it is dangerous.  I can see their points of view, it is not a good idea to use the collar in group training sessions.  It's best use for solo training with a good trainer.   It is also suitable for dogs that have been trained to walk on leash, but they still pull a bit and won't walk by your side.  With the help of the prong collar, you can walk your dog effortlessly and truly enjoy your walks together.  As with any tools, if not used properly, it can be dangerous. (a saw, a car, a fork, you get the idea)

There are also knockoffs on the market, you must get the one made in Germany, HS HERM. SPRENGER GERMANY.

I'd be happy to walk with you and introduce the collar to you, you can also look up youtube videos.

I have included a photo of it on my neck just to show you it does not hurt! :)

Happy walking everyone.

Disclaimer:  Do not use on dogs that pull excessively, and dogs with trachea problems.  You must learn how to use it properly.
